So my blogging slump is largely due to the week being dominated by my total lerve of So You Think You Can Dance. I so very much enjoy that show. Jeana can mock if she wants but I’m working out and when I get back in shape I will totally learn how to dance and win the whole taco on that show.
Laylee and I may audition together since she’s so good already and it may take a couple of years to lose these extra couple hundred pounds. This spare tire is throwing off my center of gravity on my pirouettes.
And I’m not only striving to out-dance Laylee. I’m also working on out-whining her…
I’ll vote for you if you share the taco. =P To be honest though, I think Laylee would steal the show.
Glad to see I’m not the only one who enjoys that show. I may have to challenge you to a dance-off! (I’m not even going to try against Laylee, though. I bow to her obvious superiority.)
i love that show, the jive that they did to avril’s “girlfriend” was excellent
I didn’t watch last year because I thought nothing could copy the talent show-esque-ness of Idol and actually succeed. But after a few episodes saschayed across my screen these past few days, I may have to start watching it deliberately.
My husband and I are addicted to that show!
i love the show too. i have a BFA in modern dance- but after 3 babies and some extra padding, my theme song would be
“so you usta could dance”
So funny! Is your husband use to it or does he think you are nuts as you whine your head off? Good thing she laughs. Mine gets really annoyed.
Sean is a great dancer too. Or he could be having an epileptic seizure. Not sure yet.
So… You’re SPEAKING! at BlogHer. I did not know. I will sit in the front row.
LOL I would not have guessed that was the show! I watched last season off and on, its pretty good. I used to dance, but my husband’s lack of dance ability has stripped me of any ability I had, we NEVER go dancing, and I lost my groove. Its so far gone I don’t even remember it. I may get it back though, because my friends are making me do karaoke, and if I am forced to sing, which I have never done, I just may bring back the dancing to cover up my singing voice.
“Hello, my name is Daring Young Mom and I’m a dance-aholic…”
Oh girl, you should have been with me on my trip last week. We could have cut a rug like you wouldn’t believe… all with no whining! Imagine that…
And let Jeana mock. She’s just jealous…
