…when you drop it on the kitchen floor and you need to use it to get dinner out to your dinner group members in a few hours and would rather eat nails than go to Target and buy another one because you’re sick as a flippin’ dog.
It shatters into a million tiny pieces all over the kitchen floor and all over the hall carpet. Just a little scientific fact to make your day more enjoyable. I should submitt something to Wikipedia about that.
Another piece of info — Due to Karen’s latest tragedy and because I like you all so much and am so grateful for the way you “shared the love” in last month’s awards, I’m gonna do a bulk order of the Daring Young Mom pink Ringer T’s .
The small writing on the shirts says “Dare to love without limits. Dare to adore your job. Dare to be Fabulous.”
The normal price is 17.99 plus shipping. If I do a bulk order and then mail them out myself, I can drop that down to $17.00 total, including shipping. Of course, I then make no money for my vacation fund, but I’d just like to see you all decked out.
If you want one, please email me your size preference and I’ll include you in the order. They are basically juniors sizes so buy one size up from what you would normally wear.
(ex. An extra large is still a little more “daring” than I’m comfortable with on a person who’s a 35F — yes that’s a real size according to Wanda-with-the-tape-measure-and-the-chart at the local breastfeeding supply store)
Oh, and in case you’re wondering, there’s no geeky web address on the back. I’m not asking you to be a personal billboard for my site. I just want you to look and feel as Daring as you are!
I’ll leave the order open for a week before I send it in.
Count me in. Size L.
hi, how do we pay? Do you do paypal?
And congratulations!!!
Good question.
If you send me a check, it’ll be $16. If you do paypal, it will be $17.
Last time I planned a bulk order like this, I said $15 because I didn’t take into account the packaging stuff and the fact that pay pal takes 88 cents off for each transaction.
Congratulations, I’m so glad you got an award. You deserve it.
I have got to find good bra-measuring place near me, cause I have a feeling that’s the sort of size I need.
Congrats on the award! You totally deserve it – your blog cracks me up.
Congratulations on your best humor award. You definitely deserve it.
I totally related to your ER story the other day. Let me tell you about the trips I made to the OB Triage when I was pregnant with the first . . . Oy! Those nurses thought I was the looniest, most freaked out, hypochondriac soon-to-be Mom ever! So I won’t really tell you the stories because that would take too long. But I know how you feel.
Congrats on the award! You certainly deserved it!
Hey, I am here in the comments and I totally forgot what I was going to say…
Isn’t it annoying how Pyrex breaks into millions of pieces instead of just two or three?
Congratulations on the award! Yay!
As for Pyrex, I had one explode in my oven once. ^_^

Poor thing, I’m sorry you are sick, I hope someone is making you some chicken soup (or whatever your comfort food is).
ooohhhhh, I really want a t-shirt…..I’ll have to let you know next week….do they come in colors other than pink?
DYM,
I am not an M, but I read your blog daily, and your sister’s, and your parents’…ya’ll have become my surrogate “blog” family. I think it would have been so much fun to grow up in your house! I would like to buy a t-shirt, but since I don’t really fit the qualifications, I was wondering if you would mind if I marked through the M and changed it to sometihng else…your suggestion for this would be greatly appreciated! If it is ok with you, count me in for a…drumroll, please…M (for medium, not Mom). Thanks, M – so many M’s…I am lol
I’m still getting the hat. I want it and my birthday is coming up!!!
(You won! Congratulations!)
When you get those babies in in plus sizes, I’m all over it.
My teenage son said he would be embarrassed to have me wear such a tee shirt. Next time he gets in trouble, I know what to do.
