Cause it’s inspirational quote day on Daring Young Mom and this one’s definitely worthy of inscription on a table runner or pilla’ of some sort.
Take a minute, bust a prayer and you good to go.

I would like a needlepoint pillow with the entire lyrics to George Thorogood and The Destroyers One Bourbon, One Scotch, One Beer on it.
I’m not keen on needlepoint but if I were to make an exception, mine would say – Let Sleeping Mummies Lie.
Can I put it in a quilt instead? Pretty please?
By the way, I didn’t tell you to read Dooce because I thought she was incredibly fantastic. She’s the one who made the mommy blog what it is, and if you don’t know who she is people think you are strange. So there.
She also has a word named after her website. To be “dooced” is to be fired because of your blog, which is exactly what happened to her. I read her blog. It’s hard to find good blogs from Utah.
Thanks to Karli, my fabulous blogging and real life friend, who taught me about blogging, told me everything I needed to know and even let her husband offer me tech support as I’ve tried to customize my blogger template. This is all in response to the fact that Blackbird “dooced” dooce from her list of must-reads. I said that I had heard she was great and wasn’t that impressed. She just seems to be everywhere. Best of Blogs even had to set up a seperate category of “famous bloggers” so she wouldn’t keep winning the “mommy blogger” award every time.
Not sure whether you wanted us to post inspirational quotes, or respond to yours. Here’s one of Gandhi’s: “An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth and the whole world would soon be blind and toothless.”

Here’s my favorite quote of the week. “Love may not be appreciated or reciprocated, but it is never wasted.” – Neal A. Maxwell
