Let the Choir of Angels Sing

Dan and I went on a Real Date this week.

We saw a movie.

Besides the fact that Billy Joe Jedd Bob Thornton appeared to be dentally challenged and possibly wearing a prosthetic teeth, making it nearly impossible for him to stretch his lips closed throughout the movie, we had a good time.

BTW–I passed on an award for you! Not that the rest of blogdom won’t tag you as well…just wanted you to know that you inspire me. 🙂
    Hugs

Dude, I’m just amazed that after hauling the 3 course meal and mariachi band to the theater, taking them out, and putting them back in the stylish purse, you still had the energy to take them to the restaurant with you and take them all out again. And you even got a picture with them!

LOL! And how was that? Frankly, I’m holding out for Husband to go with me to the ice skating movie or the Tarantino movie. Because, hello? Woman that can shoot things out of her leg? THAT’s funny.

Hi there. I’m back-and I’m so glad! Your blog is up to supreme hilarioocity~mariachi band…..hahahaha! It sounds like you had a good time 🙂 We’re trying to start to think about going on a date (it’s been a while)….and it would be our first date since we got married, so that’s gotta be important and stuff. 🙂

And actually, I DO happen to have going out ideas that don’t require second mortgages! I even wrote a blog about it (go figure!) here:

    http://mamaland.wordpress.com/2007/03/09/frugal-fridays-on-love-10-dates-under-20/

You can do them all for under $20 (not including the cost of babysitting though-sorry 🙁 )!

As always, thanks for making me laugh so hard that my drink comes out my nose.

Mariachi band, eh? Have you been talking to Strong Bad recently?

Our dates mostly consist of late night runs to the store for a loaf of bread, a stick of butter and a container of milk, or else grabbing some fast food and watching an episode of Firefly together. We don’t do the movies that often because my purse isn’t big enough for a band. Once we have kids that will probably change, though, and then we, too, can have romantical dates.

Hi! 🙂 I have not been here in a while… I see you’ve landed yourself a tv spot. Go you! Good work lady! And a date? A REAL date? And you went and saw a movie with Billy Bob in it? Rofl!

I had to tag you. Are you to big to play that game? Just wondering. You haven’t taught me any tag etiquette yet. 🙂

I so hear ya. Got no ideas for you. Everytime we play cards we accuse the other of cheating:-)

DYM– Can I just say that is the best smile ever in that picture at the restaurant! You guys look good. I miss you!
