If You’re Happy…

That is so funny. I love working in Primary. Kids come up with the funniest things. In all of my callings, the ones in Primary have given me the most laughs and the best spirtual experiences ever.:)
Tee hee! I loved that, Kathryn! You are so cute!
Funny! And how cute are you? Way. I was laughing out loud over here. Which is bad because it’s like, 11:20 and my whole house is sleeping while I’m cackling like a banshee.
Hey look! It’s Daring Young Mom live! Look at YOU! I was like… Oh my gosh! Did anyone else see that? Do you KNOW how famous this lady is??? And here she is. Live, in my office.
Wow. This was fun. I hope hope hope you do this again sometime.
Also. Petting a rodent.
Little kids are flippin’ AWESOME!
I learned a valuable lesson from that. If I see a video clip post on your blog – immediately put away any and all food and drink I was ingesting and rinse out my mouth – lest I spit chewed up cereal all over my screen.
That is awesome.
There is nothing like a good mascara-running laugh. Love the video commentary, you are hilarious.
Great story, DYM!
Speaking of mascara. . .I bought some of the expensive stuff from the Trish McEvoy counter. The lady who sold it to me said it wouldn’t smudge, flake, run or do any of those things I don’t like mascara to do. The firsat time I cried wearing it was the last time I wore it. No, it didn’t run. Instead it fell off onto my cheeks in pieces. My boy was completely alarmed. “Mama! Wook! You eyewashes are coming off!” Indeed, it was a freaky sight.
You’re such a doll. I totally want to hang out with you, but you’re 3,000 miles away or something.
That was fun! Thanks for sharing! You should do WebCam Wed. so we have one of those every Wed. 🙂
I can picture the whole scene. You laughing like those hysterical pregnancy giggling fits that I remember and love so well and the kids going….”like Whhhaaaaaat? Was something funny here? Grown-ups are soooo weird!”
Kids do, indeed, say the darndest things.
Loved the visual. Thank you for making my day. Love you!
Oh, the joys of junior primary chorister. That was my job for almost 4 years and I cried when they tried to release me. I told them no, I wouldn’t go, but eventually they did manage to kick me out.
I love it when you ask the kids a question about a song, like “What is happening in this picture?” (it’s a girl giving her friend flowers), and a little girl raises her hand and says to you, “Hey, Hey, We got a new dog, but it died”.
So, I thoroughly enjoyed the hamster story.
I was trying SO HARD not to look at you, because I knew if we made eye contact we would both have had to be carted away!
Primary callings are so much fun. Those kids never let us down!!!
lol. too funny.
Laughing SO hard! I was primary chorister a few years ago and had some funny moment, but none so funny that I was left in a puddle of tears and mascara.
Thanks for the laugh. You sure brighten my day every day.
PRIMARY KIDS ROCK! I served as pp for 5 years… 2 different wards (seriously, I think I needed to learn something)& when I was released this time, I bawled my eyes out. I missed my kids so much.
My old 2nd counselor was called as pres and came up to me about 3 weeks later and told that they’d had a lesson on taking care of our bodies, Ie: Temples, and she’d asked the kids what they should eat for breakfast. My son’s arm shot into the air and when called on said “CHOCOLATE CAKE”. She said that now she had the dirt on me,(bad mommy) especially now that I was no where in sight to keep my own “contained”.
Love the hamster. thank you for sharing it!
Gonna remember that one. LOL
I’ve had “if your happy and you know it” in my head all day! Thanx!
You are SO CUTTING EDGE with the video and all! Again, inspired!
LOL! Small children…the very reason that I am suffering through the resume stuff. They Are Worth it! 😉
That was awesome! Oh my god, I can totally picture that whole thing. So funny.
Umm, I just watched this again just for the fun of it and linked to it on my blog. you’re the best
