Um, wow! Whatever that stuff is, it is evil.

I keep finding it winding it’s way around my rosemary and lilacs. It strangles what it touches and rips out the good stuff if you rip it out.

But it does look pretty cool on your bike. 🙂

  2. KBarbee says:

And I’m afraid the lawn won!!!

    Don’t worry though…the bike doesn’t look too upset 🙂

  3. All Adither says:

Just hop on and lay down some rubber. The vine will be begging for mercy.

  4. Becky says:

Oh, that is too funny! I live in a land of dry, usually, but the last several weeks have made me wonder if I moved to your neck of the woods – ack, rain!!!!

  5. That lawn kicked your butt!

    Lani 🙂

    1-0 The Lawn vs. You

    Better luck next time ;o)

  7. bananas says:

that plant viney thing is the devil. I have one in my yard and it WILL. NOT. DIE.

    Too funny!

I fought the branches that Mr. Right cut down from our front yard. One stupid branch thought he would take me down; it left it’s mark on my forehead and everything. I took great joy in making sure that it was cut into several pieces, tied up and thrown onto the truck during pick up.

(We’ve got those viney things too. I can’t kill them! Grrr…)

  11. Kristen says:

Looks like the lawn won, dear!

  12. KayLynn says:

Well, you could always just print the picture (it has an artsy flair to it–along the lines of the impact of nature and time on what humanity treasures as a whole), sell it for millions , and then pay someone else to fight the lawn for you. That’s what I would do.

  13. Casey says:

Perfect! For a photo commemorating you getting schooled by a weed, it’s awfully picturesque.

  14. MamaToo says:

that photo totally brought me back to our old Seattle house. We would rip out that creeping what-ever-it-is stuff, only to have it come back from a mysterious “mother ship” root below our property. too funny to see it covering the bike. maybe you need to go for a ride more often?
