This week I went to the aquarium with Layleeβs preschool class and a group of helpful high school students who received extra credit for accompanying us. While they ran around after my kids, I experienced something strange and wonderful.
Personally I prefer the chaos of the little people over the peace of the little fish but it was nice to have a break in the middle of the week.
Preposterous! Next you’ll tell us they even identify the kinds of fish with stuff like signs or something!
Magoo cracks me up because he reminds me so much of my youngest. He was exactly like that last time we went to see the fish. It sure is fun looking at the world through their eyes.
The first half is the background music to all my activities. The moment I hit the pillow is the second half of the soundtrack. Man I love that clip!

Aww…thta is so fun. They are just so busy. I love the music.
Haha! Love it!
That was awesome! I love it!!
awesome.
Too funny! I love the pit stops to check out what is in the garbage can.
I was almost crying laughing at the way his little left arm swings – how sweet! great video
YES! Now, what was your major again? π You did a phenomenal job on that. You captured it perfectly. There has to be a contest for that somewhere that you can totally win.
Hilarious. Love it. Magoo is something else – like he’s rocket-propelled.
Oh my gosh, this was BRILLIANT!
I think I burned about 500 calories just watching the first part of that video!
Did you see the weird box-shaped fish there? Freaky.
That was awesome. The kids heard the music and came over to see their friend running around. Now my 2 year old wants to watch it over and over! I have actually lost a child for a time at the aquarium. Talk about frightening!
The background music was superb….I love his idea of what an exhibit is.
Kind of made the end seem bland…I miss the chaos of toddlers once in a very GREAT while.
That was great. Nicely done.
DYM rocks!!
I’m amazed that you were able to keep him in frame the whole time without running into something yourself!!
I loved the music…my wild boys asked if we could go to the aquarium….can you say Magoo’s video times three? I don’t think so! π
I think that is my most favorite YouTube ever.
My, but you had your hands full! Great video! LOVE the music!
Did you have to attach the camera to a specialized dolly that was made to follow Magoo around? I don’t think I could keep up with that even at regular speed.
Awww! I love him peeking back to make sure you are following.
Oh I have so been there!
There are fish at the aquarium? No Way! Who cares? The little Magoo is much more interesting anyway!
That was hilarious! A great idea.
Dude, I’ve totally seen that movie before. Except the heart-throb main actor guy had more hair and tripped more often. I hear they’re making a remake, only with a girl instead of a guy, and it’s set at a My Little Pony convention instead of an aquarium.
This reminds me of a story my dad tells. He took my brother (about 4 years old) to the airplane museum and instead of trying to see anything let James set the pace.
25 minutes later they had been through all 4 floors and were ready to go (and James actually really liked the airplanes!)
Wonderful! Just curious, is it a Flip video?
Have you checked on Karli lately?
Fantastic video! I loved the music!
Where are your AWARDS??? huh? Will someone give this lady an award???
Awesome! J loved seeing her little pal in high speed! “I seed him? I seed dat boy afore? Where? Where I seed dat boy afore?”
Brilliant.
There are moments when I admire you and enjoy your site, and then there are moments when I downright envy your creative mind! If I were clever enough, and skilled enough, and savvy enough, I would have made a video like this! Now you’ve done it, so that would be copying, and I don’t want to be that girl. So, I’m re-watching it and pretending (since our little guys look so similar & I’ve had that exact experience at the Seattle Aquarium) it’s me. Yup. Me. π
Brilliant, I say.

We got our real internet yesterday (fiber optic, yeah!) so I could finally see this AND hear it. Very nice indeed.
Thank you for putting the calm stuff at the end. If you had reversed it I would have stayed on that speed all day.
