That orange line outlines what will be the new gravel/grass boundary. You’re probably wondering how much artistic thought and planning went into determining that line. Wonder no more; I watched a landscaping guy free-hand it with his spraypaint. I wish I would’ve known he was going to do that–I could have asked if I could do it, so that I could forever say, “I determine where the grass grows and the gravel sits. Mwa-ha-ha-ha-ha!”.

  2. glittersmama says:

    So long kitty litter!

  3. Michelle says:

Shoveling gravel… nope, don’t envy you, DYD.

  4. Mary says:

I love that your husband and Stebe got in on the kitty litter shoveling action!

  5. Awesome.
The power to control! To either grass or gravel!!
With great power comes great responsibility DYD.

  6. Shalee says:

The Power of One!… Er… Two!

    You know what I mean…

Just goes to show you that being a smartalleck and an email heckler really can bring some artistic justice to this world.

Go DYD and Stebe! You rock! (or gravel in this case…)

  7. heather says:

really, this whole story is too funny!

I’m so glad you are documenting it. Eventually it should be submitted (images/emails and all) to Mega Corp. for their historical archives!

  8. Nantie Meg says:

Question – Did Dan and Stebe dress alike in honor of the gravel shoveling ceremony? or is that the Mega-Corp Dress Code? Or is it just like when girls live together and start wearing the same color on the same days?

  9. Woo-hoooo! Go Dan! Kathryn, you should remind your husband that he doesn’t need to prove his manliness to you, since being one of the funniest humans on the planet far outweighs any shovelling capabilities. That man of yours is quite a catch. I say that in a purely non-jealous way, since mine is at least as good as yours.

  10. Kimberly says:

    Pooper scoopers! ~giggles maniacally~

  11. Sketchy says:

Don’t get me wrong, I’m all proud of you for sticking it to the man and your plant grass not rocks campaign,

    but…

Isn’t that now going to look like an inner tube of kitty poo floating in a sea of green?

  12. tracy m says:

This whole story makes me so happy.

  13. Stephanie says:

That “structure” looks so much like poo to me. Very creatively “placed” poo.

Like the pooer, was doing a magical, choreographed dance.
